This month Isaiah got his first hair cut...
He's now over 14 pounds and last time he was at the doctor, he measured in at 22.25 inches!
He's also started talking! He says "Dada" with purpose now, answers the question "What does a duck say?" with "Kak!", and we're confident he's trying to say "ok" and "yeah".
We had a big party on Saturday, celebrating Isaiah's big milestone (lots of pictures to come!), and he enjoyed almost every single second of the day. Almost, because well, this is how the smash cake went...
Yup. In the grand scheme of things, it wasn't a big deal. But we've still had his homemade smash cake sitting here waiting to be smashed. So we saved it for this morning...and got a much different response. Get ready for a million photos (or 5, whatever...same difference.)
We got a much different reaction.
Today, we're celebrating our baby. Not much too reflecting today, but celebrating today, what it means, and Isaiah's future.
He's come a long way in one year!
