For the drinking problem: Amandine wouldn't drink from a "soft" straw or box at first, but just got it at first shot with the rubbermaid juice box (in June), maybe because the straw is bigger?! (thanks for your blog by the way!)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11795313689822281567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5966872740801186324.post-74578327757438341532014-09-29T08:44:51.453-04:002014-09-29T08:44:51.453-04:00Amelia thinks every sippy cup is a teething toy, b...Amelia thinks every sippy cup is a teething toy, but the take & toss sippy cups without any valves have worked. She knows there is water in there, and will drink from it, but she hasn't figured out that she needs to tip the cup. So far I am doing that for her.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05029172977124617596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5966872740801186324.post-36076762275786979802014-09-29T08:43:26.557-04:002014-09-29T08:43:26.557-04:00We had similar issues with our little guy who has/...We had similar issues with our little guy who has/had low tone. We tried EVERY type of sippy and straw cups (hard spout, soft spout, hard straw, soft straw, etc.) What eventually clicked for him was the throw-away type cups. http://www.walmart.com/ip/The-First-Years-Take-Toss-7-oz-Sippy-Cup-Set-of-6/4631188<br /> They don't have a valve, but the also don't allow a lot of water to come out. Takes little effort to get out the drink too. Once he figured that out, we moved on to others until we found the one we still use today (Playtex http://www.diapers.com/p/playtex-insulator-spout-cup-boy-9-oz-2-ct-998571?noappbanner=true&utm_source=Diapers_SG&utm_medium=PDP_SG&utm_campaign=di-sg-to-mobile&utm_term=playtex%20twist%20and%20lock%20sippy%20cups).
