My oldest son has an IEP for him at school. I was nervous to send him to preschool 5 years ago because I thought he would be an outcast. But to my surprise, he loved it and made so many friends. He gets pulled out of his class for speech therapy as well. My son is now in 5th grade(he still has the IEP) and he loves school. He has so many friends their that he's been around since pre school.
